Abuelas Candy

After my grandparents passing in my adulthood I find myself missing little things about them. The simple gestures of them giving me candy as I walk through their door was one of them. Or them slipping some to me when we sit outside in the humid air of Miami.

They always had these little strawberry candy ready for us grandkids. Sometimes I would even sneak into my grandparents car or room to get an extra one.

I wanted to bring the memory of these gestures to life.
